The Global Society for Peace and Spiritual Science (GSPSS), under the guidance of its founder and spiritual teacher Revered Sadgurudev Yogi Acharya Rajan Sharma, has successfully conducted a series of free spiritual awareness programs across the United Kingdom and Qatar, inspiring hundreds of participants through yoga, meditation, and self-realisation.
The programs, held in London, Coventry, Reading (UK), and Doha (Qatar), featured Seven Chakra Awakening, Kundalini Yoga, Ayurveda, Stress Management, Meditation, and Spiritual Wisdom sessions. The events attracted members of the Nepali diaspora as well as participants from diverse communities seeking holistic well-being and inner transformation.
According to Mr. Daya Gautam, GSPSS UK Coordinator, the tour has not only introduced authentic yogic knowledge but has also carried the inspiring message of “Nepal – The World Guru Nation” to the international community. He stated that the programs have generated growing interest in Nepal’s ancient spiritual heritage across the UK and neighbouring European countries, including Portugal and the Netherlands.
As part of this expanding mission, a new GSPSS branch has been established in Reading, UK, creating opportunities for regular yoga, meditation, and spiritual education programs for the local community.
During the UK visit, Yogi Acharya Rajan Sharma attended the annual gathering of the Sapkota Welfare Centre UK as the Chief Guest. Addressing the audience, he highlighted the rich spiritual heritage of the Kaundinya Rishi tradition and the significance of preserving Nepal’s ancient Vedic wisdom, culture, and values. He emphasised that honouring the legacy of the sages is achieved by living according to their principles and passing their wisdom on to future generations.
Mr. Govinda Sapkota, President of the Sapkota Welfare Centre UK, described the spiritual mission led by Yogi Acharya Rajan Sharma as a “divine service.” He stated that the campaign has elevated the prestige of Sanatan Vedic Dharma, Yoga, and Nepal’s spiritual heritage on the global stage. He further remarked that, as a member of the Sapkota community, Yogi Acharya Rajan Sharma has brought great honour to the Sapkota family worldwide by promoting Nepal’s timeless spiritual traditions and inspiring people across different countries.
Meanwhile, in Doha, Qatar, GSPSS successfully organised World Yoga Awakening, Seven Chakra Meditation, Kundalini Sadhana, and a special Guru Purnima celebration, with strong participation from the Nepali community, particularly migrant workers.
According to Mr. Jhapat Bahadur Kunwar, GSPSS Qatar Coordinator, the free programs have had a significant positive impact on many participants, especially workers living under demanding conditions. He explained that regular practice of yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda has helped participants reduce stress, improve physical and mental well-being, and develop greater confidence and inner peace. He described the initiative as an important humanitarian service, making spiritual knowledge accessible to everyone regardless of financial circumstances.
Participant Mr. Rajan Bharadwaj shared that the teachings of Yogi Acharya Rajan Sharma had transformed his life by bringing clarity, hope, and inner light. He praised the Guru’s selfless dedication, saying that spending his own time, energy, and personal resources to offer free spiritual education for the benefit of humanity is a rare and inspiring example of true service.
For many years, GSPSS has been conducting free education in Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Sanskrit, Self-Realisation, and Spiritual Science through both in-person and online programs. The organisation also offers internationally recognised Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) programs from 200 to 2500 hours, aiming to prepare qualified yoga teachers and spiritual educators while preserving the authentic wisdom of the Himalayan tradition.
Through its vision of “One Home, One Yogi”, GSPSS seeks to build a healthier, more peaceful, and spiritually awakened global society while sharing Nepal’s timeless yogic heritage with the world.
The successful programs in the United Kingdom and Qatar have further strengthened international appreciation for Nepal’s spiritual legacy and reaffirmed GSPSS’s commitment to expanding similar free spiritual awakening initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
