Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the country will be in crisis if he steps down from the post of Prime Minister at this time.
Speaking at a function organized by the Madan Bhandari Foundation in Baluwatar on Sunday on the occasion of the 69th birth anniversary of the late leader Madan Bhandari, Prime Minister Oli said that if he stepped down, there would be a danger of dismissal.
“I am not only for today, I am for tomorrow, I am not for myself, I am for the country,” he said.
Prime Minister Oli claimed that India was trying to remove him from the post of Prime Minister as he had issued a new map of Nepal including Limpiyadhura, Mahakali and Lipulek. He has accused some Nepalese politicians and Indian Embassy of being involved in that game.
He said, “You might have heard from Indian media that the prime minister would be changed in a week or two. You might have heard intellectual discussions in India. This is how the Indian state mechanisms are active. Nepal’s nationality today is not so weak as they have thought about. Any conspiracy against the country will not be succeed”
Prime Minister Oli said that although he did not want to remain in office, it was necessary for the country benifits.
