June 3. Bhaktapur, The Nepal Army (NA) provided free health services to a total of 892 locals by running health camps in Changunarayan and Ashapuri in Bhaktapur on Tuesday.
NA Colonel Ramhari KC said that a team of 17 health workers including doctors, nurses and lab technicians provided health services to the earthquake-hit locals. All the patients were given medicines for free after undergoing their checkups.
It is said that more women visited the health camps compared to the males. The patients were given orthopaedic, ENT, eye, gynaecology, paediatric, psychotherapy and others health services.
Likewise, Nepal Army Wives Association distributed daily essentials to 200 quake-hit families in Changunarayan. Association’s chair Rohini Rana said that the quake-affected families were provided with tents, mats, pressure cookers and foodstuffs. RSS
