June 6. Kathmandu, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has said the friendly football match between political leaders and cine artistes held to raise funds for the charity of earthquake survivors has given a message of unity in the country.
Addressing the concluding session of the match organized by the ‘Naya Patrika National daily’ at Armed Police Force (APF) headquarters Halchwok, the PM Koirala, who also enthusiastically attended the match, said political parties are united to tackle post-disaster adversity in the country.
Today’s match has inspired the political parties to unite for fulfilling their responsibilities towards the people and the nation, pledging to gear up for the rebuild of modern Nepal ahead.
Likewise, CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli said political parties are encouraged to gear up for building new Nepal by this friendly match. He thanked the APF for its support in holding the match successfully.
Likewise, Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic) Chairman Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar said the soccer has inspired the political parties to do something for the betterment of country heartily.
CPN (UML) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal said today’s friendly match between political leaders and artistes has displayed the message of unity and cooperation in the country and encouraged the entire Nepali people to come together to face the post-disaster situation.
