July 26, Kathmandu- Palestinians in Gaza are using the 12-hour ceasefire between Hamas and Israel to prepare for more fighting as the death toll continues to mount.
Gaza residents poured into the streets on Saturday to recover the dead and stock up on food supplies after the humanitarian truce came into force.
Health officials in Gaza said 85 bodies have been pulled from the rubble during the truce, bringing the Palestinian death toll to 985. About 40 Israeli troops and civilians have also been killed.
It comes as a meeting of foreign ministers in Paris called for the ceasefire to be extended.
